Cutting a track is ruining the track. Sometimes it makes a track less boring that is true. Marc usually doesn't cut for AT medals, they have to be driven the intended way ( a proof of that would be GPS). After getting the AT medal the intended way Marc allows himself to cut because otherwise depending on the cut it is impossible to keep up with other people on the leaderboard. If it was for Marc, cutting should be bannable in the Track of the day series or Nadeo should find a way to prevent it 100 percent. 

Marc thinks that checkpoints are important and it is the only way for the mappah to prevent cuts. Checkpoints every 2 seconds or even every second are recommended until Nadeo finds a different solution.

Marc thinks 99 percent of the trackmania community doesn't share his idea of the cutting stuff.

He understands that cutting has been a part of trackmania since day 1. That is one of the reasons why he wants to move away from this community.
