Marc needed mods at some point because of Open Grand League (Trackmania). In the competition he couldn't stop in the middle of a run so he needed somebody to manage the chat.

Marc was looking for a "CoPilot" who is a mod in the stream and can read the chat to Marc through voice chat while Marc is focusing on the runs.

First choice back in the day was TheMaxAnswer. Marc saw the potential in Max because he was a regular viewer and also seemed like a nice streamer himself. Max was saying no though so second choice was Dimi_Nation who was also from the "Maxanswer crew". 

At the end TheMaxAnswer and Dimi_Nation both became mods in the stream.

Cinn the mod became a mod because Marc was looking for somebody to manage the stream and stop the timer for his 3 ball world record juggling world record attempts.

Dimi and Max were pushing for Cinn to become a mod. Cinn was only mod for the juggle attempts first and then later became a real mod.
